Education Law

We represent and advise parents and school children, especially children who require extra assistance or have special educational needs. Experience in special teaching has shown that parents are not sufficiently aware of their rights, and/or their needs are not properly understood. We aim to ensure that parents are heard and good solutions for their children are found. We take a focused and constructive approach that places priority on the child’s welfare.

We also act for and advise teachers, head teachers, schools and education boards in all matters to do with schooling and employment law, with a particular focus on primary schooling law in the canton of Zurich. HR issues in particular can often be very difficult for schools and school heads; our support and legal experience in dealing with authorities help provide a considered and proper way to tackle and resolve them.

Our close collaboration with experienced coaches, psychologists, experts and doctors from the world of education and beyond is a major resource, allowing us to offer comprehensive and wide-ranging advice and representation.
